Wolf Canyon Class of 2026 Cotillion
Details:
- Date: Friday, May 29th, 2026
- Program will begin promptly at 5:00pm.
- Students should report to respective classroom no later than 4:45pm.
- This event is for the sixth grade student and their parents only.
- Attire:
- Boys: Nice pants and top. Can be any color. No jeans.
- Girls: Dress, skirt, nice pants, or blouse. Can be any color. No jeans.
- All attire must be appropriate for school.
- We will be serving light snacks and refreshments.
Class of 2026 Cotillion Food Donations – Our amazing food committee would like to ask for some help with the food for this year’s event. Please see the link below and contribute if possible. You may send non-perishable items to your child’s teacher anytime leading up to the event. Thank you!
Class of 2026 Jump Around Field Trip! – We will be having our class field trip to Jump Around this Wednesday, May 27th, 2026! Students will have access to the ENTIRE facility for the day and lunch will be provided!!!!! Please make sure to fill out the waiver below. Thank you!

Class of 2026 Promotion – Please join us Friday, June 5th, 2026 for our Sixth Grade Promotion. The program will begin at 9:00am in the Wolf Canyon Multipurpose Room. We will be celebrating and promoting Wolf Canyon’s Class of 2026. The event will last approximately one hour and students will be dismissed to begin their summer vacation. All other grade levels are expected to complete school and be dismissed at 1:45pm.
Details:
- Space will be very limited. We recommend all extended families to celebrate after. Parking will also be very limited.
- Gates will open at 8:00am.
- No balloons or airhorns. In addition, please be mindful of others behind you when recording with phones as to not block the view of others as we don’t have stadium-style seating.
- Students need to report to their classroom by 8:30am.
- There will be open seating but please no saving of seats.
- Before leaving campus, please make sure to stop by your child’s respective table by the lunch arbor to pick up their final packet with promotion certificate, report card, and class picture inside.
- We will be utilizing the Raptor Safe App. Please download and have it ready before coming to campus:

We ask all students adhere to our promotion attire:
- Boys: Dark slacks (black, dark blue, dark brown – no jeans) and white button-down top. Jacket and tie optional.
- Girls: White dress or white blouse with dark bottom (pants or skirt – no jeans).
Nightly Homework – Please make sure your child is getting daily practice by ensuring they do their homework nightly, Monday through Friday. Students will utilize a daily planner to keep track of daily practice. Please initial nightly and sign at the end of the week. Every night, your child should be:
- Reading for at least 30 minutes
- Completing approximately 20 minutes of math practice on either Teams, IXL.com, or iReady
- Playing iReady for 15 minutes, Monday through Thursday
Accelerated Reader – We are on week 8 of our 9-week quarter. That means your child should have 89% of their AR goal. We expect all students in sixth grade to read for one hour each day, Monday through Friday. Students read for 30 minutes in class daily and should also be reading for 30 minutes for homework.
